Description
The Voigtländer 50 mm F1.2 Nokton II VM combines the tradition of fast standard lenses with state-of-the-art optical technology. Two double-sided aspherical lens elements ensure exceptional image quality – even at open aperture – and enable a soft, expressive bokeh.
With its high speed, 12-blade diaphragm for particularly round out-of-focus circles and compact design, this lens is a versatile companion for demanding portrait, reportage and available light photography. The short overall length reduces viewfinder vignetting – ideal for use on rangefinder cameras.
Thanks to the precisely manufactured all-metal focusing mechanism and optimally tuned torque, the lens offers pleasantly smooth, sensitive handling. With a weight of just 322g, it remains pleasantly light and balanced.
Equipped with the VM mount (compatible with the Leica M system), it not only impresses on classic rangefinder cameras, but also on mirrorless system cameras via an adapter – with harmonious balance and full creative potential.
Optionally available: metal lens hoods (LH-14 compact or LH-15 in vintage style). Both are also reversible for transportation.
