The Sony VG-C6 Vertical Grip offers secure hold and ergonomic controls consistent with the camera body, ensuring comfort during long shoots. It includes front and rear dials with a lock function, for seamless operation in both vertical and horizontal positions.
Optimized dual battery use for prolonged operation
The VG-C6 Vertical Grip holds two NP-SA100 batteries. When using two batteries, the camera will operate for nearly twice as long as when using one battery. Remaining battery time is shown on the camera display for confident shooting. Power and charging via the camera’s USB Type-C® connector are supported.

Built with the same dust and moisture resistance as the camera body, the VG-C6 Vertical Grip ensures reliable performance in tough conditions. Its magnesium alloy frame adds exceptional durability.
Environmentally conscious
Sony’s environmental plan “Road to Zero” aims for a zero environmental footprint by 2050. The VG-C6 uses recycled plastic materials, constituting more than 60% of the main unit’s plastic weight, including our durable SORPLAS™ material. We are also transitioning to non-plastic packaging materials.
